RACHEL + ANDREW

I feel like winter effects me in too many ways.  I am in a slump and a rut for months, both creatively and mentally.  I make myself GET OUT and take pictures.  By March I was dying to get out and photograph someone...it had been two months.  Even in the briskness of those first few months of spring...I ventured out with an amazing couple.

I met Rachel a few years ago at a styled shoot I did featuring her friend Kristen.  I needed more models and Kristen provided her hot friends.  For the past year I have been IG stalking Rachel and her boyfriend Andrew...their budding romance is one of the most adorable things of all time.  I knew, eventually, I would have to photograph them.  So I reached out to Rachel in February and we set a date:)  Rachel and Andrew have been together a year and are often adorably capturing each other and sharing on their awesome Instagram accounts.  they both have a great eye for making daily life look beautiful...and their images of each other speak volumes about their feelings.

It was seriously like the coldest day in March.  That wind was relentless...but the sun was still out and love was in the air.  We had so much fun venturing all over the city, Rachel and Andrew were complete naturals.  They were nerdy and spontaneous and sweet, a dream to photograph...complete with an impromptu beat box session.  I can't believe how lucky I am to meet such awesome people and tell so many incredible stories of love...it never EVER gets old.
